All alone and sometimes lost - Ciguenza

You get brownie points if you can pronounce Ciguenza correctly. We lose brownie points for 4 eyes missing 2 big crosses which mean don't go this way and climbing up way higher than we had to. Grrrrrrrrr. Later lost markers again and later still on a very hot day lost them again trying to find accommodation off our trail as hotel on route closed. Got fed up and hitched last 2 kms! However it was a spectacular walk, especially early morning up onto a misty limestone plateau and through evergreen oaks. Visited some pretty villages and saw horses, a hare haring off, what we think was a fox, an Egyptian Vulture, a cuckoo, orange-tip butterflies and green skinks, and all sorts of flowers. All afternoon saw not a soul.
